Larry opens Piper Insurance, specializing

primarily in Life Insurance, Financial Planning & Estate Planning.

1983 - 1991

The Million Dollar Round Table recognizes Piper Insurance as a worldwide leader in the Financial Services Industry from 1983 to 1991. 

1992

Piper Insurance joined Nationwide Insurance Company.

1998

With zero clients but high hopes, Piper Insurance becomes an independent agency!

Why? It was the right way for the agency to best serve its – future – clients.

2003

Piper Insurance was recognized as the premier agency in New York State by Erie Insurance.

2009

Christy Kager, a former economist with the EPA, joined the family business as vice president.

2015

Larry Piper was named an “Endorsed Local Provider” by the Dave Ramsey Show.

2023

Larry Piper retires and sells the agency to Christy Kager.
